Henrietta Johnson Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center with two sites located in the city of Wilmington. Henrietta Johnson Medical Center first opened its doors in 1968 and now provides medical services to more than 18,000 patient visits per year.
Henrietta Johnson Medical Center's mission is to respond to the health care needs of its community by providing quality family oriented, comprehensive, health care services including preventive services to anyone in a confidential culturally sensitive manner.
The comprehensive staff of Henrietta Johnson Medical Center includes Board Certified Physicians and Nurse Practitioners who work as a team to address various categories of health care while screening for prostate, colorectal, cervical and breast cancer. Patients are offered diabetes education, prenatal care, disease prevention and early intervention smoking cessation assistance. In addition, a Dentist and Podiatrist are part of the multidiscipline team. HJMC also provides pharmacy and laboratory services on site (to those that qualify) at affordable discounted rates.
Health education, outreach, and social services are provided and are essential to physical well-being and healthier lifestyles.
